Why Nola?

We don't want to keep children on a screen. We want to help them return to the world with a new word.

Small Talks with Nola was created for children who are just discovering language and for parents looking for content that is beautiful, meaningful and gentle on young senses.

Nola doesn't rush, shout or overwhelm. She shows, names, repeats and leaves a real moment for a child's response.

Created by Róża and Jagoda’s mum, with care for children and their parents.
Two paths. One philosophy.

Growing alongside your child.

Content matched not only to age, but to the way a child sees, listens and learns at each stage.

18 to 36 months

Meet Nola

A guide who stays close without making it all about her.

Nola is warm, cheerful and genuinely interested in what a child has to say. Her expressions are clear, her movements gentle and her voice natural.

She doesn't perform at children. She meets them. The object, the word and the shared moment always matter more than the show.

“Hello. I’m Nola. What shall we discover today?”
Portrait of Nola
A real person behind the digital character

Nola is digital. The way she speaks is real.

Behind Nola is me, a mum of two girls. For the first lessons for toddlers, I record my own face and say every word myself. My expressions, articulation and gestures are then transferred onto Nola.

Young children learn by watching another person’s mouth, face and movements, then trying to imitate them. Technology is the visual layer here. The voice, pace, gaze and intention always come from a human being.

Róża and Jagoda are part of this world.

Observant viewers will find little roses and blueberries hidden in the films, room details and objects. They are a personal trace of my daughters, for whom Nola was created.

For parents

The video begins the conversation. It never ends it.

At the end of every episode, you will get one simple idea for bringing the new word into everyday life while getting dressed, walking, bathing or playing together.

After today's episode

Find three blue things at home. Name them together, without testing and without pressure.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

Will the videos replace learning with a parent?

No, and they shouldn't. Nola invites shared attention, repetition and play. The most important learning happens later, in a real relationship.

Is Nola entirely generated by AI?

No. Nola is a digital character, but the first lessons for toddlers are based on recordings of a real face and voice. Her expressions, lip movements, gestures and way of speaking come from the channel’s creator.

Is the content suitable for very young children?

First Words is designed for children around 18 to 36 months and co-viewing with an adult. Its pace, composition and sensory load are intentionally limited.

Will Nola only teach English?

English is the project's first language. Nola's world is designed to support children in other languages in the future, too.

Where will the episodes be available?

The first episodes are in development. The main home for them will be the Small Talks with Nola YouTube channel.
